What
is carbon offsetting? What we do everyday, eg: heating
homes and offices, driving vehicles, air travel, all consume energy and
produce carbon dioxide emissions.
Planting trees is one way to help
offset your carbon footprint as they absorb carbon dioxide to produce oxygen.
Did
you know? In its lifetime a large tree - an Oak, Ash or Beech
for example - will absorb in the region of 0.75 tons of carbon. A
hectare of broadleaved woodland will absorb in the region of 450 tons of
carbon in its lifetime.
