Height & Shape Hawthorn can grow up to 18mtrs but is mostly seen as a dense thorny shrub. Very commonly seen as a part of a hedgerow.
Leaves & Flowers Shiny leaves are deeply lobed. Pale pink to white flowers appear in masses during May and June.
Distribution This tree is native to most of Europe, very common in woods and hedgerows.
