Height & Shape Beech will grow up to 40mtrs in height
and form dense canopies. Large domed shaped tree with a smooth
grey bark.
Leaves & Flowers Oval shaped leaves open a yellow green, changing to a bright shiny
green with age and a rich brown colour in autumn. Flowers appear
during April-May.
Distribution Most common in western and central Europe on chalk or well drained
areas.
