Cheviot Trees aim to offer a friendly and efficient service whenever you contact us and we are always happy to advise on any query you may have before you place an order.

First select your trees

Select your choice of trees from one of our lists.  Although we specialise in Cell Grown plants we can offer other sizes and species. Eg: Bare root trees and Potted trees, large and small, which aren't on our price list. If you have difficulty finding the plants you are looking for, or would like advice of any kind, please don't hesitate to contact us or see our Choice of Plant Type page.

Do you need protection for your trees?

Protecting trees against the many threats and problems is essential. Consideration must be given to vermin, (rabbits, hare, deer, pine weevil etc.) cold drying winds, chemical weeding and mechanical damage. The correct choice of protection for your trees will give effective, practical control and will enhance the growth of the tree and hence rapidly create an attractive landscape.

Delivery

We can deliver trees and planting accessories to anywhere in the UK. Give us a call for a price. Tel: 01289 386755.

There are various methods of delivery to choose from depending on the size of the trees to be packaged. We will discuss the best and most cost efficient option for you when we process your order.

• Water resistant boxes - for small/medium sized orders
  • Trees packed in boxes (of various sizes depending on size of order) are normally delivered by carrier. We usually despatch goods on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of each week, but we will contact you in advance to confirm.
• Wooden Crates - for medium/large orders
  • Trees are either packed horizontally or standing upright depending on their size and transported by haulier. You will need a forklift to unload the lorry. We will contact you in advance of despatch to confirm delivery dates.
• Correx trays on racks - for large orders
  • Trees are packed 'standing up' in correx trays which are then placed onto racks for delivery by haulier. We will contact you in advance of despatch to confirm delivery dates. You may need a forklift to unload the lorry. The lorry driver will leave the trees with you in the correx trays, but will return the metal racks to the nursery.
• Collection from the nursery
  • You can arrange to collect your order direct from the nursery, but please give us notice so that we can have it ready for you. Nursery office hours are from 8:30 to noon and 1pm to 5pm. Closed between noon and 1pm.

Current high fuel costs means that delivery charges are mostly unavoidable, but we aim to keep our charges as low as possible. Don't hesitate to contact us for an instant quote. Tel 01289 386755.  Larger orders may even qualify for free delivery!
