Juncus effusus - Soft Rush is anative sedge plant that is ideal for boggy, peaty soil. It grows in large clumps at the water’s edge alongside stream and ditches. Soft rush plants are one of the essential components of any new pond/marginal planting as they remain evergreen and add interest all year round to a pond.

Leaves & Flowers
The stems are smooth, dark green cylinders that bear dark brown florets in summer.
